What we collect

poo.meme is a thin client over BNB Chain. We collect the minimum needed to keep the service safe and functional:

  • Wallet address. Public on-chain. We use it for authentication (you sign a one-time nonce) and to associate uploaded token logos with the launching wallet.
  • IP address (hashed). Stored as a daily-rotating SHA-256 hash and used only for view counting (trending) and rate limiting. We do not store raw IPs.
  • Token logos you upload. Stored on Cloudflare R2 and served from a CDN. Logos are public.
  • Session token (JWT). Issued in-browser after wallet signature. Stored in localStorage. Expires after 24 hours.
  • Basic analytics data. We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate site usage, such as page views, referrers, device/browser information, and approximate location. Google may process this data according to its own policies.

What we do NOT collect

  • No accounts. No email, name, phone, KYC, or government ID.
  • No private profile tracking. We use Google Analytics for aggregate traffic analytics; localStorage is used for functional things you can see, such as your session.
  • No private keys. We never see them — your wallet handles signing.

On-chain data

Anything you submit to a smart contract — token name, symbol, description, website, X / Telegram URLs, logo URL — is published permanently on BNB Chain and is publicly readable forever. Treat anything you put in token metadata as fully public.

Data we share

We do not sell or rent your data. We may disclose information when required by law, or to protect the platform from abuse (e.g. forwarding rate-limit telemetry to our hosting provider).

Retention

  • Hashed IPs in view records: pruned after 48 hours.
  • Auth nonces: pruned after 1 hour.
  • Rate-limit windows: pruned after 24 hours.
  • Google Analytics data: retained according to our Google Analytics settings.
  • Token cache (name, symbol, addresses): kept for as long as the service runs.

Your rights

You can disconnect your wallet at any time. To remove a logo from R2, email [email protected] — we will remove it from the CDN, but the URL recorded on-chain (if any) cannot be modified.
